EclipseSource Oomph Profile: Updated to Neon
Eclipse Neon was successfully released on June 22nd. Neon provides better performance and a variety of improvements. Therefore, we recommend to always update the IDE to the newest version.
We updated the EclipseSource Oomph Profile accordingly, so, if you use our profile, all you need to do is restart your Eclipse IDE, and all updates will be applied for you. Please see this blog post to learn how to use the EclipseSource Oomph profile.
We have also extended the profile to let the user select the preferred version:
- Latest: If you select this option, you will always automatically get the latest version that we recommend. All existing users are automatically using this option
- Mars: If you select this version, your IDE will remain on Mars.2
- Neon: If you select this version, your IDE will remain on Neon, but it will be updated to Neon.1 and Neon.2
