- Token pricing for GPT-4.1 models is slightly cheaper compared to GPT-4o. If their real-world performance matches recent benchmark results, they may soon become the default for OpenAI users in Theia-based tools and daily workflows.

Continuing our tradition of letting AI models take charge, we provide a short demonstration. In the video below, we first add the new model and use it for the Theia Coder agent. Then, the GPT-4.1 model automatically integrates itself into the IDE’s default list of available models—no manual tweaks needed! This ensures the latest models are quickly and confidently made available to every user.
