Eclipse Theia - a platform for more than just code editors!

Eclipse Theia is a platform for building web-based IDEs and tools. It is also sort of a modern alternative to Eclipse RCP. One of Theia’s core advantages over other tools is its extensibility, adaptability and flexibility. However, this sounds pretty abstract, so what does this really mean in practice? We recently gave a talk at TheiaCon providing examples of features you can very easily implement and/or adapt in Eclipse Theia. This includes adaptations to the workbench itself, but of course also integrating typical features such as non-code editors.
