Join the virtual Che Conf 2018 tomorrow, February 21st
February 20, 2018 | 1 min ReadSee you at the Che Conf 2018
The Che Conf 2018 will take place tomorrow, Feb 21st starting at 10 am EST. For Europeans, it is a nice evening event to watch. The good thing about this conference is that it is free to attend and you can join it from your desk or even from your couch.
Even more important, it provides interesting content about and around the Eclipse Che project. See eclipse.org for a full list of sessions. So just subscribe on eclipse.org to join the sessions you like.
In case you didn’t know Eclipse Che
Please see the Che project page for an introduction. In essence, Che consists of two things:
- A server for sharable developer workspaces and
- a browser-based IDE connecting to this workspace server.
As you can see from the list of talks at Che Conf, Che is also an extensible framework to build your own tooling upon. See this blog series for more information about this use case.
Maybe the major disadvantage of a virtual event is that we cannot end this blog post with the words “looking forward to see you there”, but still we are looking forward to a great event :-)
