EclipseCon 2014 -- Early Bird Picks

November 12, 2013 | 1 min Read

Last week was the early-bird deadline for EclipseCon 2014 and I was extremely impressed with the quality of submissions. It was very hard to pick just five, but lucky for me, I have an excellent Program Committee helping!

Here are the five early-bird selections:

  • At the Mountains of Madness with Bling3D - Tony McCrary and Jon Mietling
  • Turning Eclipse Into an Arduino Programming Platform for Kids - Mélanie Bats
  • Connecting the Eclipse IDE to the Cloud-Based Era of Developer Tooling - Martin Lippert and Andrew Clement
  • Next-Generation JavaScript Language Tooling - Ariya Hidayat
  • What’s cool in the new and updated OSGi Specs (DS, Cloud, and More) - Carsten Ziegeler and David Bosschaert

These five picks cover a variety of topics, including: OSGi, Software Tools, JavaScript, Programming Environments and more. Congratulations to all of you, and thank-you to everyone who has submitted a talk.

The final deadline for EclipseCon 2014 submissions is Monday November 18th.
