What is Yoxos 5?

Yoxos 5 is a completely new way to work with Eclipse. Instead of starting Eclipse and selecting the workspace you want to work with, you can now start a workspace and the associated tool configuration is automatically launched.

The tool configuration is stored in a small xml file - the .yoxos file - and is independent of the Eclipse binaries. The Eclipse binaries are shared between all installs so launching another workspace takes only seconds. It is really simple to add and remove plugins, share the tool configuration with your team and store all revisions of the configuration together with your project sources.

With Yoxos 5, workspace provisioning means sharing Team project sets, Preferences, Mylyn, Checkstyle and other configurations with your team - and getting notifications if they are changed. Workspace provisioning will get you started on a new projects in minutes - just launch the .yoxos file and watch the sources defined in the Team project set coming in.
