The Prometheus effort is about creating a consortium and an open source platform for the insurance industry in the area of broker software and automated data exchange.
Prometheus is based on the concept of "Collaborative Open Source Application Development". COSAD provides best practices for the creation of software platforms for verticals by multiple companies, relying on open source rules of engagement and other open source practices.
