JavaOne Pavilion: Monday, June 1st - Thursday, June 5th
With Java's traditional module, the Jar file, developers cannot effectively specify APIs, properly describe dependencies or encode meaningful version information. Without these established principles of modularity, the software assembly process becomes challenging to maintain and error prone.
OSGi is an open specification that delivers a proven, mature solution for assembling truly modular software. It is currently deployed in thousands of large-scale commercial applications around the globe.
The EclipseSource team knows OSGi. Our people led the original OSGi reference implementation and we are active ongoing contributors. Through our training, mentoring and consulting services, EclipseSource ensures that companies succeed with OSGi.
Drop by the EclipseSource booth to learn more about how EclipseSource can accelerate your Eclipse and OSGi based development projects.
Monday, June 1st - 5:15 - 7:30pm - Booth #216
Tuesday, June 2nd - 11:30 am -1:30 pm - Booth #216
With Eclipse RAP, Java-Developers like you use their favorite language to write good-looking web-apps. Re-using existing skills, like a well-known language (Java), familiar tooling (Eclipse) and a standard deployment format (.war) will get you home earlier than other technologies.
Eclipse RAP is an open source project at Eclipse.org. It adapts proven Eclipse technologies to the web. RAP is backed by an active user and developer community and is used successfully in several commercial projects. Version 1.2 is due on June 26th with Eclipse Galileo .
