There are other developers who are helping on the plugin's mailing list (check it on the wiki page) with very useful advices and of course the previous commiters who created the base of the plugin (the Jenkins plugin for JaCoCo is a fork of the Emma's Jenkins plugin). https://github.com/jenkinsci/jacoco-plugin/graphs/contributors We cannot miss Jonathan Fuerth who is my menthor in this year's GSoC.
